Man Burned In Laguna Niguel Condo Fire: OCFA
The second-alarm fire was reported Tuesday morning, firefighters said.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A second-alarm fire ignited in a Laguna Niguel apartment late Wednesday morning, county firefighters said.
The fire was reported at around 11:30 a.m. from a second-story condo on Via Luis in the City of Laguna Niguel.
"Firefighters worked through heavy storage conditions to contain the flames and search the home," the Orange County Fire Authority said in a statement. "Firefighters held the flames to just one unit, saving the adjoining condos from the fire."

A man who escaped the flames was treated by firefighter-paramedics before being taken to a nearby hospital. His status was not immediately available.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
