The Dana Point attack on a man dates back to Oct. 25, 2024. In that case he is charged with assault with a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, both felonies, as well as brandishing a gun, a misdemeanor.

One of the accusers in the domestic violence cases received a restraining order against Cordova until Nov. 14, 2030.

The woman who won the restraining order said he broke her jaw in her request to stop any contact with the defendant. She said he beat her in May of 2025 after she denied cheating on him.

"Mr. Cordova was gaslighting me and accusing me of cheating," she wrote in her restraining order request. "The more I denied it the angrier he became, resulting in the two-plus hour attack causing physical damage to my person. My jaw was broken, many bruises and my hair had been pulled out."

Under the question asking how often she was abused, she responded, "Too many times to count."

On Christmas Day of 2024, he also accused her of infidelity, she said.

"The more I denied the angrier he became, resulting in the beating and abuse that left me with various bruises and a broken rib," she wrote.

One of the attacks occurred on her birthday after he picked her up to celebrate at his home in Dana Point, she wrote.
