Man Who Fatally Beat Dana Point Drummer Pleads Guilty
A 38-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday to fatally beating a drummer for a local punk rock band in Anaheim.
DANA POINT, CA — A 38-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday to fatally beating a drummer of a local punk rock band in Anaheim.
Arthur Fenwick Williams was scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 31 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, according to court records. He is accused of killing 48-year-old David Patrick McCabe, drummer for the local band Knightenders, authorities said.
A good samaritan found McCabe in the 1500 block of West Center Street, between Lincoln Avenue and Broadway, on July 20, 2019, and called police to the location the Anaheim Police Department reported.

According to police, McCabe, of Dana Point, was found suffering from "injuries consistent with blunt force trauma."
Tuesday's plea bargain was the fourth in murder cases by prosecutors in the Orange County District Attorney's Office since Friday.
