Mariners Church Turns To Outdoor Worship Amid Coronavirus
Mariners In The Neighborhood will host outdoor worship services at 8 locations across Orange County, socially distant and yet, together.
LAGUNA HILLS, CA — It's been a long time since worshipers have had the opportunity to join together in praise. Mariners Church, a nondenominational Christian church based out of Irvine and Huntington Beach, is extending their reach beyond strictly online services to reach eight neighborhoods across Orange County.
In March, churches across the state went virtual amid the coronavirus pandemic shutdown. Instead of raising hands and singing with a roomful of worshipers, families have drawn inward to social distance themselves from the faithful watching church service remotely. After six months of virtual church services, the minds at Mariners Church have decided it is time to go another way.
Mariners is hosting outdoor worship services in 8 Orange County locations including:

To attend, members and guests must sign up online by choosing one of the 2-5 service times available per location each weekend. Mariners Church has also outlined comprehensive instructions for worshippers to adhere to during the pandemic.
