Maritime Festival Readies For Return In Dana Point: What To Know

The long-running festival is held annually by the Ocean Institute and was formerly known as the Tall Ships Festival.

DANA POINT, CA — Batten down the hatches — this year's Maritime Festival is returning to the Dana Point Harbor to give landlubbers a taste of the salty sea from Sept. 8 through Sept. 10.

Attendees can dine with mermaids and pan for gold at this three-day event at the Maritime Institute in Dana Point, and even witness a live cannon battle — all while learning about maritime history.

The annual Maritime Festival takes place Sept. 8 through Sept. 10 in Dana Point.
