Motorist Injured In Crash On 5 Freeway, Traffic Stalled

The crash was reported at 12:38 p.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near El Toro Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

LAKE FOREST, CA — An injury crash slowed midday traffic on the Interstate 5 Freeway traveling through South Orange County on Friday.

The crash was reported at 12:38 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near the El Toro off-ramp in Lake Forest, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to the CHP, the crash involved a motorcycle and gray sedan.

According to the CHP log, an officer reported that the driver of the motorcycle was "on the ground."

The crash stalled traffic on the southbound side of the freeway for six miles.
