Music for Food - Mirabelle Trio to entertain at Gloria Dei Church
A trio of talented musicians will present a free concert at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Dana Point on Sunday, February 15th, 5 PM.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church invites the public to enjoy an inspiring evening of chamber music featuring The Mirabelle Trio, a Southern California–based ensemble of distinguished musicians, performing a rich and expressive program in support of hunger relief in our community. This special charity concert benefits Music for Food, through free will donations benefiting Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) and their vital work serving individuals and families in need throughout Orange County. The one hour concert starts at 5 PM on Sunday, February 15th at Gloria Dei Luthern Church, 33501 Stonehill Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629. Register on Eventbrite HERE.

🎻 About the Artists
The Mirabelle Trio is a chamber ensemble based in Southern California, bringing together three accomplished musicians known for their expressive artistry and collaborative depth.
Dr. Karen Follingstad, piano – Founding member of the trio and an active chamber musician, Dr. Follingstad has performed with the Pacifica and Miami String Quartets. She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute, the Frankfurt Hochschule fur Music, Indiana University and the University of Texas. Dr. Follingstad is a recently retired professor of Piano at San Diego State University. She has appeared as a soloist with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Blossom Festival Orchestra, and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.

Julie Ayer, violin – A professional violinist and graduate of University of Washington and Indiana University, Ms. Ayer frequently collaborates with Southern California chamber groups, including the Mirabell Chamber Players. She enjoyed a thirty-six year professional career with the Minnesota Orchestra; was a member of the Houston Symphony, Santa Fe Opera and Sydney Symphony Orchestras; and authored two books about labor history and the musicians’ revolution.
Martha Lippi, cello – A professional cellist and USC graduate recognized for her work across numerous Southern California ensemble series, Ms. Lippi performs regularly with the Pacific Symphony and San Diego Symphony, and has performed in musicals, including several at the South coast Repertory and Segerstrom venues.
All proceeds benefit Music for Food in support of Family Assistance Ministries. Guests are asked to register for this free concert on Eventbrite HERE. Please note that the 5 PM church service will be cancelled for this performance. Other services are at 8:30 and 10:00 AM.
