No on M
History repeats itself. Basically, insiders who are contracted to spend Measure M money are preordained. From 2002 it is time to Recall.
Hey there, all you 400,000,000 people some of which pay taxes. IMHO the Yes on Measure M symbolizes, or puts in a nut shell the many things going wrong in America. In fact, IMHO Patch News also proves there is only a small percentage of news networks we can still believe in. WHY. I think the answer is, that most any article has supporting data and actions by the government which proves to the public that the great Republic Form of Government is broken to the point of ALMOST no return. I wish Patch would also calculate the amount of money over 35 years that say ... "The Shops at Mission Viejo Mall" would pay, with compounding interest? Compare that to the average South O.C. home property worth a $ million. I think the information presented in this article is similar to the Nixon - Watergate articles; just 10 times more powerful. If the information is used by the Times Register newspapers conglomerates it would show how American's strongest union, Teachers Union, is siphoning tax dollars indirectly. What most Americans don't understand, is that when they personally put on a pair of Levi pants they come with 4 pockets SO NOW imagine the CUSD Administration have 4-Pockets? A corrupt government pretends that one pocket of coffered taxes is not approachable by another pocket administrator. In fact, the hands of one administrative-pocket #4 can now reach into #2 and transfer money. Where is that great political cartoonist when ya need one? Simply imagine that the Teacher's Union can now access their legal coffer pool; which has grown tremendously. Why? Because suddenly the school district is not responsible to pay for all the other costs of education? How many pocket-coffers there - that is no longer accountable to pay for up-keep of facilities? Why is it, that when attorney's stand up for People, become their Advocate - that in the long run they simply GET PAID to shut up. That is what happened in CUSD Recall REFORM. Those Reform Trustees are all but gone, short Jim R., I think? Can the People raise more than $400,000 to fund a campaign to fight the fraud in education, to stop Union Teacher Groups from stealing our tax dollars? That is what Measure M comes down to IMHO. Property Owner Citizens getting a huge tax, with practically nothing to show for it. As of this date, the Measure M facilities repair is for small jobs, tile and grout crack repair and blistering old paint, etc. If any contractor looked at the repair, he could fix every item, for way under $500,000. So why raise $2,000,000,000 (2 billion dollars?) ... especially when student populations are still going down, especially when taxes are paying the way for illegal immigrants! I like the politics when mathematically, the crooks are proven WRONG. Recall the purchase of the San Juan High School? The fraud in government is out there. Dave
