The ranking comes after the travel planning website polled 3,000 families across the nation to "determine the hidden beaches they most want to visit in summer 2023." The Golden State garnered the second-most "hidden gem" beaches, with eight making the ranks. Florida clinched No. 1 with nine — four in the top 10. Hawaii came in third with five overall beaches ranking and three in the top 10.
