DANA POINT, CA — A Dana Hills High School Chemistry teacher has made Chemistry come to life for her students. Now, she is garnering county-wide recognition as a 2017 Orange County Teacher of the Year finalist.

"My approach to teaching science is to consider 'how is science done in the real world," Dana Hills High School Chemistry teacher Kristine Clarke said in her entry video. "How does a real scientist do it? whatever type of scientist, how are they doing it?"
