Ocean Institute Celebrates Virtual Maritime Festival
OceanInstitute.org will be the place to visit mermaids, explore ships, and take part in a unique celebration of all things ocean-related.

DANA POINT, CA ā The Ocean Institute Maritime Festival will look a bit different in 2020, organizers say. Transforming the multi-stage event into an online only venue will enable them to reach more fans and festival-goers than ever before.
"This year we are thrilled to be having a virtual Ocean Institute Maritime Festival!" a spokesperson said. "This multi-stage event has gained the interest and participation of organizations across the globe who will converge online September 11-13, 2020 to provide an interactive, engaging, and unique celebration of all things maritime."
Organizations from three different continents are going to participate, as well as engaging tours with ocean vessels from across the world. It is something the group has never been able to achieve before, and all as a result of the pandemic.
