Orange County’s Funniest Person Will Perform at “Stand Up For Texas,” A Comedy Fundraiser.

Just imagine that your government or psychology teacher is one of the top 100 comedians in the country and he has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

In fact, Mark Schumaker was also named Orange County’s Funniest Person in 2012. Schumaker will be one of the comedians performing at “Stand Up For Texas” on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Norman Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

He is a high school teacher at Santa Margarita Catholic School in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. He has performed across the country in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and internationally in London and Paris. The event will raise money to help rebuild Brundett Middle School in Port Aransas, Texas that got hit by Hurricane Harveys 130 mph winds and torrential rains.

Joining Schumacher are three other professional comedians- Tom Riehl, Ron Ruhman and Stephanie Blum.
