Park Renovations in Dana Point: Temporary Park Closures This Weekend
New swings are coming to a Dana Point park, and grass seeded at another. These parks will be closed over the weekend.
DANA POINT, CA ā The City of Dana Point has announced the last phase of new playground equipment is being installed this week at Creekside Park. Thunderbird Park is also closed this weekend, due to hydro-seeding.
"The two new swing sets will be ready for use as soon as the concrete cures," the city announced over Facebook. They thanked all residents for patience as the swing-set is completed.
"We know how many of you love this park," they said, adding, "the swings will be ready soon!"

Thunderbird Park is also closed due to being hydro-seeded.
"The areas of those two parks will be temporarily closed, but will open shortly for the benefit of our community," the city said.
