Playing pickle ball provides good exercise and laughs

Pickle ball is a fun game for anyone especially seniors who want to stay active in a social setting that produces as much laughs as it does good exercise.

The Dana Point community center offers ample opportunities to play regularly with other people who are at varying skill levels. Check out their website for all the information.

And it doesn’t take much for a home owners association (HOA) which already has tennis courts, to have pickle ball boundary lines painted on the existing tennis court. In Waterford pointe, for instance, newly painted pickle ball lines have resulted in a lot of people getting both some great exercise and a ton of laughs who were not using the court previously.

Pickle ball paddles and balls are inexpensive and available from local sporting good stores. If you’ve been thinking about taking up the sport but have been putting it off, get off the couch and give it a go.
