This haunting photograph was taken by a local photographer amid poor air quality caused by several fires raging in SoCal.
DANA POINT, CA — While several wildfires rage in Los Angeles County, worsening air quality and creating smoke in Orange County, one resident snapped a hauntingly beautiful shot of the sunset at Strand Beach.
Resident Gail Lukowicz snapped this photograph while she was walking Strand Beach in Dana Point this week.
"In the darkest moments you can still see beauty," Lukowicz said of the photo.
