Ride For A Reason In Laguna Niguel

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — It's Cardio for a cause! Life Time Laguna Niguel, located at 25600 Rancho Niguel Rd., is gearing up for its annual “Ride for a Reason” cycling event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® and the Life Time Foundation. The cycling fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The cycling relay will feature Life Time’s top instructors, upbeat music, complimentary refreshments and giveaways, and highlight Life Time’s popular cycle formats: EDG, AMP and Studio Cycle. During EDG, cyclists will push their limits with intense drills set to motivating music. AMP will be a pulse-pounding party on a bike, featuring energizing, calorie-burning cardio set to club music. Studio Cycle will lead riders through cardiovascular training techniques with music selected by individual instructors. Riders may ride for one hour or all four during the event.

The event is open to members and non-members of Life Time, and participants can form or join a team of up to four people for the event. Guests may begin raising money through their own personalized St. Jude fundraising website, which includes helpful tips, tools and resources.

Life Time has partnered with St. Jude in its mission to help kids across the nation get healthy and to ensure that families never receive a bill from its hospitals for treatment, travel, housing or food. Donations from the Ride for a Reason events will also be used to benefit St. Jude’s research hospital in their effort to fight childhood cancer. Through partnering with school districts, the Life Time Foundation works with food service professionals to eliminate highly processed and artificial foods in favor of wholesome, real food alternatives, while providing financial assistance for needs such as capital equipment, staff training and marketing and education.
