Santa Recovers From Disneyland Parade Float Tumble

It takes quite a lot for this jolly elf to topple! But Santa Claus caused a bit of a scare at Saturday's Disneyland Resort holiday parade.

ANAHEIM, CA — He's all right, everyone. Let's get that out of the way, first and foremost.

On Saturday, while a throng of onlookers watched the Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland Resort, the float Santa Claus was riding on lost its balance, tipping precariously forward.

A Disneyland Resort spokesperson said that Santa's sleigh is out for repairs, and he was riding a new sled.

"His sleigh just fell over!" A fan said of the debacle.

Like any good elf, Santa was wearing his seat belt and did not fall from his seat. After the incident, Santa Claus was helped down from the ride which finished the parade without him.
