Shots Fired, Police Activity Reported In San Clemente: OCSD

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Police activity was reported in South Orange County Monday, authorities said.

The incident was reported in the 600 block of Calle Vicente in the City of San Clemente.

"Deputies are addressing a situation where an individual experiencing a mental health crisis possibly fired a gun inside a residence," the Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. "Sheriff's personnel will be on scene as the investigation is ongoing."

Residents were urged to avoid the area while police mitigate the situation.
