South OC Pizza Joint Is One Of Best In Nation, Per Report

DANA POINT, CA — An Orange County-based pizza joint is making some noise.

Truly Pizza, the Dana Point pizza place that just opened its Laguna Beach location, landed at No. 4 on the 2026 edition of 50 Top Pizza USA.

The South Orange County-based pizzeria also took home the Pizza of the Year honor for its Umami Mushroom Pizza, a white pie layered with roasted mushrooms, toasted sesame oil, a seed crust and bonito flakes.

"To receive this honor for a third consecutive year while simultaneously growing into new communities is incredibly rewarding," Truly Pizza co-founder Donna Baldwin said in a written release. "Opening Laguna Beach has already been such an exciting milestone for us, and we’re grateful to continue sharing Truly Pizza with even more guests across Southern California."
