South OC Skate Park Opens After 20 Years In The Making: Report
The long-awaited 20,000-square foot skate park is located in San Juan Capistrano and opened its pavement to the public Monday.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — After almost 20 years of development, a ceremony was held on Monday to celebrate a new skate park in San Juan Capistrano, The Orange County Register reported.
The ceremony drew hundreds of skaters to the pavement to celebrate the long-awaited opening of the 20,000-square foot park.
The project cost upward of $6.8 million and sits on about 1 acre of the southwest corner of the former Kinoshita Farm property, according to the newspaper.
