Starbucks Reopening; New Café Debuts

Laguna Niguel Biz Briefs has the latest comings and goings around town.

A favorite Starbucks will reopen Thursday with a new look, and a new café will offer freebies to the first 100 guests when it launches Monday.

The Starbucks at 30065 Alicia Parkway but it will reopen in grand fashion on Nov. 15 with expanded hours 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Longtime manager Anne LeMay will be will transfer to another store, La Paz and Cabot, she told Patch.

This store will feature expanded indoor and outdoor spaces for customers to enjoy their coffee. Later this month, the store will also introduce the Clover brewing system, which brings out complex flavors and highlights subtle nuances of Starbucks Reserve coffees.

Free Eats

On Monday, Chef Jenny Ross hopes to empower, enrich and nourish the Laguna Niguel community when she opens the 118 Degrees Community Café in Ocean Ranch Village at 32341 Golden Lantern. The new location will be open daily and features shared communal seating and a 12-seat patio. This will be the third 118 Degrees location in Orange County. It focuses on fresh whole foods, smoothies, quick-serve and grab-and-go options. 

The Laguna Niguel location opens at 11 a.m. and the first 100 guests will get their choice of holiday Coconut Sugar Cookies or a Merry Monkey Smoothie.

“The new Laguna Niguel location will serve to empower the community by offering a fun and healthy alternative: fresh, organic, living cuisine," said Chef Jenny.
