Support Marine Families At Dana Point's Boat Parade Of Lights
Orange County residents who attend the parade can donate new and unwrapped gifts to Camp Pendleton kids just in time for the holidays.
DANA POINT, CA — It's time to give back and have some "Reel Fun" in the process, Orange County. Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching is hosting Camp Pendleton Marines and their families aboard "Reel Fun" in the 46th annual Dana Point Boat Parade of Lights starting on Friday.
Residents who attend the annual boat parade should keep their eye out for the "Reel Fun," as the Camp Pendleton Marines are slotted to be onboard to participate in the annual festivities. During the procession, Marines and their families will be provided with a complimentary meal and beverages.
The free services are provided by nonprofit groups supporting Marines, such as the Marine Corps League-South Coast Detachment and Dana Point's 5th Marine Regiment Support Group.

“It is an honor and privilege to host these brave men and women who have sacrificed so much, so that our United States can remain a Strong and Free Nation," Dana Wharf CEO Donna Kalez said in a statement. "We owe our active-duty service members more than we can ever repay... it is for this reason that each year, for the last 10 years, Dana Wharf, with its fully decorated boat, has provided this celebratory outreach during the holidays.”
Residents who attend the annual boat parade are encouraged by Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching to bring an unwrapped Christmas gift to be delivered to Camp Pendleton kids.

Gifts can be dropped off inside the Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching Store through Dec. 15 at 34675 Golden Lantern.
The 46th annual Dana Point Boat Parade of Lights begins on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and continues on through the weekend. For information on scheduling, visit Dana Point Harbor's website.
