Tomb Robbers of Thebes - Free Presentation March 21

You can't take it with you but the early Pharaohs tried. They just didn't count on the ingenuity of Thebes' wily tomb robbers.

Hosted by the Archeological Research Center of Egypt - OC Branch, Dr. Nigel Strudwick, Pro will explain how the tomb robbers did it, and the sometimes amazing lengths they went to. Stealing gold, precious stones, rare woods - anything that wasn’t nailed down and many that were became an art in itself.  Enjoy his free presentation at the Bowers Museum, 2002 N.
