'Trick' Out Your House For Dana Point Decorating Contest

DANA POINT, CA — Residents of Dana Point, it's time to dig out your Halloween decorations. The City of Dana Point is holding its Spooktacular Porch Decorating Contest and all community members are encouraged to "trick" out their front yards and deliver a "treat" of a display to the rest of their block.

There is no entry-fee to have your Halloween-themed yard considered as the best of the block, however, residents must be sure to enter in their yards by the deadline of Oct. 25.

To enter the contest, submit a photo of your decorated porch or front yard to recreation@danapoint.org by the deadline — not only will you be bringing the harvest spirit to your block, but you may even take home $300 in gift cards to local Dana Point businesses.
