'Unknown Substance' In Car Prompts Hazmat Response In Laguna Niguel
Orange County firefighters notified residents of a sheriff presence in the 30000 block of Pacific Island Drive Tuesday evening.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Orange County firefighters are currently on scene with the department's hazmat team in Laguna Niguel for an unknown substance in a car, the Orange County Fire Authority reported Tuesday evening.
Residents were advised to keep away from the 30000 block of Pacific Island Drive while authorities conduct their investigation. The Orange County Sheriff's Department is also on scene working in unified command with the OCFA.
There is no threat to community safety at this time, an OCFA spokesperson said.
