Volunteer Gives Back to Hospital That Saved His Life
Frank Kirchhoff, VP Auxiliary Membership at Providence Mission Hospital, was inspired to give back to Mission Hospital that saved his life.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Frank Kirchhoff has a great reason to smile every time he reports for volunteer work at Providence Mission Hospital’s Mission Viejo campus -- Mission doctors and staff literally made this possible when they saved his life. In gratitude, Frank started volunteering at the hospital five years ago. Today, he continues to serve as a Campus Guide and VP of Auxiliary Membership.
Frank’s enthusiasm comes through as he assists patients and family members to find their way around the hospital. He has no hesitation in assuring them they will receive the very best care from Mission’s doctors, nurses, and health care support team. As VP of membership, he interviews prospective volunteers and is constantly impressed with their energy and enthusiasm. Many of them, like Frank, have chosen to give back to the hospital that provided excellent health care to them, a family member or friend.
Frank firmly believes that “when you give back, as the saying goes, you always receive more in return. I always leave the hospital after my shift with a smile, knowing that perhaps I made a small difference.” If you’d like to make a difference too, he highly recommends you apply at the Providence Mission Hospital website here.
