Watch Dolphins Dance Off The Coast Of Dana Point: Photos

DANA POINT, CA — Around this time of the year, the Orange County coast is teeming with life under the ocean. Residents traveling aboard a Dana Wharf Whale Watching vessel Tuesday learned just that as they sailed across Orange County waters.

On Tuesday, tourers saw a blue whale, a bottlenose dolphin, common dolphin and four mola mola.

The highlight of the tour, however, was when residents spotted several pods of common dolphin who energetically raced across the ocean's surface.

Residents interested in participating in a Dana Wharf Whale Watching tour are encouraged to schedule their tour through the wharf's website.
