Where to Find Cheap Gas In Orange County: Laguna Niguel

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Gasoline prices in Orange County have dropped two-tenths of a cent, Tuesday though prices may still seem high to drivers. The cost of a gallon of regular, self serve unleaded gasoline is nearly 34 cents higher than one year ago, this month, according to AAA.

As of noon on Tuesday, gas prices ranged from $2.69 to $3.09 for regular, self serve unleaded gasoline.

Fountain Valley wins for the cheapest gas in Orange County, with Costco on Newhope Street and Talbert Avenue selling for $2.69 per gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline, and Sam's Club on Brookhurst Street and Warner Avenue selling for $2.73 per gallon.

In San Juan Capistrano, find your cheapest gas at Costco on Doheny Park Road near Victoria Boulevard, at $2.75 per gallon, or at the Doheny Village Car Wash, also at $2.75 according to Orange County Gas Prices.com.

San Clemente gas prices are slightly higher, with $2.89 at the 7-Eleven on Pacific Coast Highway and 3rd Avenue.

In Laguna Niguel, gas prices were snap-shotted at $2.85 at the Costco at Cabot Road and Crown Valley Parkway.

Mission Viejo's gas is hanging out just under $3 a gallon, at $2.99 at Arco on Marguerite Parkway and La Paz Road.

Rancho Santa Margarita's cheapest gas prices were at the Arco on Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida Empressa, at $3.05.

Aliso Viejo's gas prices were clocked at $3.05 at the 76 on La Paz and Pacific Park Drive.

If you're looking for cheap gas in Lake Forest, expect to pay around $2.89 at the Grab-N-Go on Lake Forest Drive and Regency Lane.

Gas in Laguna Beach was posted at $2.89 a the 7-Eleven on Pacific Coast Highway and 3rd Avenue.

In Newport Beach, the ARCO on Bristol and South West Birch Street was hovering just under $3 per gallon at $2.99.

Seal Beach has gas prices listed as $2.97 at the Mobil station on Seal Beach Boulevard and Plymouth Drive, and $3.09 at the Chevron Station on Pacific Coast Highway and Westminster Boulevard.

The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $3.05. It is seven-tenths of a cent less than one week ago but 7.7 cents more than one month ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 1 cent following a nine-day streak of increases through March 2 that pushed the average price to its highest amount since Jan. 7, 2016, $3.06.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $3.061, the third consecutive decrease since rising to its highest amount since Jan. 7, 2016.

The average price is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago but 9 cents higher than one month ago and 34 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
