Winter Storm Shrouds Saddleback Mountains In White

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA —Laguna Niguel resident Jim Alvey captured that moment of awe that Orange County awoke to, Thursday morning.

Christmas night, a storm hammered the whole of Orange County. In the morning, clouds lifted briefly to showcase the snow-covered Saddleback Mountain peaks it left behind. That winter wonderland was captured on Alvey's camera, and shared for all to see on Patch.
