Woman Admits To Accessory Charge In Laguna Niguel Pub Stabbing: Report
The woman's then-boyfriend stabbed an Iranian-American man to death in 2015 following an argument at a bar in Laguna Niguel.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A woman admitted to being an accessory and was sentenced to community service after her former boyfriend — a white supremacist gang member — fatally stabbed an Iranian-American man in 2015 following an argument at a South Orange County bar, The Orange County Register reported.
The sentencing comes more than nine years after the violent Labor Day Weekend conflict between Craig Matthew Tanber and Shayan Mazroei at Patsy's Irish Pub, according to the report.
Elizabeth Anne Thornburg — Tanber's then-girlfriend — was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and two years of probation after admitting that she helped him flee from the bar in the aftermath of the killing, the newspaper said.
