Woman Critically Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash In Laguna Niguel
Police were searching for a driver after a 24-year-old woman was struck and severely injured by an SUV early Saturday.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A 24-year-old woman was in critical condition Saturday after she was struck by a hit-and-run SUV early Saturday, police said.
Police were searching for the driver of a dark-colored 2014-18 Subaru Forester that was damaged on the front right and side view mirror, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
The woman was hit just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Crown Valley Parkway between Golden Lantern and Nueva Vista, police said. The vehicle may have fled westbound on Crown Valley Parkway toward Pacific Coast Highway, officers said.

The driver did not stop and fled the scene, police said. The woman was taken to a hospital.
