Woman Found Dead In Laguna Niguel Hotel Room, Deputies Seek Suspect

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Orange County sheriff's deputies Monday sought the public's help in tracking down the car of a suspected homicide victim whose body was found in a Laguna Niguel hotel.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 28000 block of Camino Capistrano to aid an "unresponsive" woman in the room, deputies said. The woman was identified as Griselda Petra Pinedareta, 36, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

While investigating the scene, sheriff's deputies began to suspect that Pinedareta was a homicide victim.

According to reports, Pinedareta's 1999 Honda Civic, with license plate 8BLU923, is missing and deputies suspect it may have been stolen.
