LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — The Chet Holifield Federal Building in Laguna Niguel — often called the "Ziggurat" building — is back on the market, with developers hoping that a stripped preservation requirement will help the building find a buyer, The Orange County Register reported.

The General Services Administration announced the plan to start accepting bids for the building starting at $70 million on Wednesday, June 5, with no requirement for the buyer to preserve the building.

Officials said the last day to submit offers is on July 31 at 9 a.m., and that any broker who brings the highest bidder will also receive a finder's fee.
