All Things University City: Holiday Trees

Yes, it seems too early to be thinking about getting a tree for the holidays, but UC’s Mission Bay Montessori Academy (MBMA) Parent Group is running a Winter Wonderland tree and wreath fundraiser.

The trees are grown in Oregon and will be cut on December 3, then delivered fresh to MBMA, located at 2640 Soderblom, for pick on Friday, December 6 (3:00-8:00 pm) or Saturday, December 7 (12:00 noon - 4:00 pm).

Three types of trees are being offered: Douglas, Noble and Grand Firs. Prices start at $50 and go up to $145, depending on the height you desire ranging from 4 to 10 feet. Wreaths are $35, and garlands can be ordered for $2.50 a foot. Orders are due by Monday, November 18.
