LA JOLLA, CA — One of La Jolla's most recognizable dining traditions is returning this summer as The Marine Room brings back its High Tide Dinner Series.
The oceanfront restaurant's signature event is scheduled for June 13-15, July 12-14 and Aug. 9-11, timed to coincide with full moons and peak tides that send waves crashing against the restaurant's windows.
The series will feature two dining experiences this year.
Rising Tide Dining, offered from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., will allow guests to watch the tide gradually rise during dinner. Diners can choose from a limited à la carte menu or a three-course meal priced at $125 per person.
High-Tide Dining begins at 7 p.m. and includes a four-course dinner with live music as the Pacific Ocean reaches its peak tide. The experience is priced at $165 per person. Guests can also upgrade to a Chef's Table Experience for $250 per person, which includes wine pairings, enhanced courses and a take-home gift.
Reservations and a full event schedule are available on The Marine Room's website.
