San Diego Beer and Wine Tours (La Jolla Wine Tours) is going “green” for Saint Patrick's Day by launching their newest tour: The Beer Train. Imagine leaving a low carbon footprint while enjoying ample tastes of local, craft beers paired with the best of San Diego’s food offerings.
San Diego Beer & Wine Tours has offered an immensely popular train tour of local wineries since March 2011. Now, San Diego Beer and Wine Tours has “tapped” into growing demand to showcase San Diego's fast-growing craft-beer scene.
“Reducing one’s carbon footprint is so important,” says co-founder Shira Bliss about the rail tours. “This “green” tour is right in keeping with our goal of supporting environmentally-friendly and energy efficient business services.”

A recent guest, Teresa M, reported: “The train tour is great for beer lovers. I really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes brewery tour. Drinking beer and taking in the coastal scenery on the train is incredible.”
This tour also includes a brewpub lunch and guided historic walk. Guests can join these train tours easily from most locations (Santa Barbara to San Diego) by using public transportation.
