Best Cities To Live In California: Report

CALIFORNIA – Berkeley is the best city to live in California, and the third best city to live in America, according to new rankings released by Niche.

Niche ranked the 2018 Best Cities to Live in America by giving cities grades from A+ to C- across the country. Out of 228 ranked cities, 41 California cities landed on the list, with 14 in the top 100. Every city in the top 100 received at least an A- grade on Niche's rankings.

Niche, an online platform that aims to help people discover the best schools and neighborhoods, analyzed data from government sources, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Education, FBI and U.S. Census, along with resident reviews.

After Berkeley in Northern California, Irvine in Southern California came in as the next best city to live in the Golden State and the 10th best city overall.
