JCC Bomb Threat: Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center In La Jolla Evacuated
BREAKING: A bomb threat on Monday prompted San Diego police to evacuate the building on Executive Drive in La Jolla.

LA JOLLA, CA – Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla was evacuated Monday after receiving another bomb threat.
Authorities were called to the center on Executive Drive about 4:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
In an email alert, administrators said staff followed security protocols by evacuating employees and pre-schoolers to La Jolla Country Day School across the street while officers searched the site. All programs were also suspended.

Parents of preschoolers were told in the alert that children could be picked up early at La Jolla Country Day.
"Please know we take these situations very seriously as the safety of our students, members, participants and staff is always our top priority," the alert states. "Thank you in advance for your calm, patience and cooperation."

This is the third time the center has been evacuated due to similar threats in recent weeks.
The threat was among nearly two dozen similar ones received Monday at Jewish centers in 12 states, according to JCC Association of North America.
