Republicans may not be embarrassed by Congress’s almost unanimously approved “Reduction of Flight Delay Act of 2013” – but I am. The bill gives the FAA authority to spend up to $253 million to keep employees on the job and make sure their Congressional representative’s flights are on time. Apparently, it is more important to get Congressmen and women home in time for next week’s recess, than to help children to get a Head Start on their education – or to help fund any of the dozens of other much more important issues affected by Sequestration.
