SAN DIGEO — Crews extinguished a brush fire Thursday in the Rose Canyon area of San Diego.
The roughly one-acre blaze sparked off Regents Road and Porte de Merano in University City, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
A stretch of train tracks in the area was closed while crews fought the flames. The fire caused no reported structural damage or injuries.
