🎭✨ Opera Wednesdays – Experience World-Class Opera! ✨🎭
Join us every second Wednesday of the month from 7:00–8:30 PM to enjoy performances by Southern California’s top opera singers. Artists include past and present Metropolitan Opera Competition winners, active San Diego Opera performers, and internationally acclaimed guest artists. Each concert brings world-class voices to La Jolla Community Center.
💵 Admission is free, but a suggested donation of $10–20 per person is greatly appreciated. 100% of donations go directly to the performing artists.

TrueCare, a nonprofit community health center serving North San Diego and South Riverside counties, is excited to announce its annual&nbsp;ILLUMINATION Gala, taking place on April 18, 2026, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn (17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, San Diego, CA 92128). This event will bring together community leaders, sponsors, donors, and friends for an unforgettable evening in support of affordable, accessible, and high-quality health care.
This year’s theme, Bright Beautiful Lives, celebrates the power of compassionate care and the seeds we plant in our communities, helping individuals and families not only navigate life’s challenges, but truly thrive. At TrueCare, putting affordable, high-quality care within reach is more than a service. It is the foundation for creating moments that matter throughout life, when care takes root and lives can bloom. Every visit, every checkup, and every answered question helps protect milestones for children, strengthen families, and ensure that no one faces life’s challenges alone.
Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, a gourmet seated dinner, live music by San Diego-based singer-songwriter Jesus Gonzalez, and the opportunity to bid on exciting auction items. The&nbsp;ILLUMINATION&nbsp;Gala will honor two extraordinary forces for good, the Boys &amp; Girls Club of San Marcos, a long-standing community partner committed to supporting local youth, and Dr. Emerito Posadas, one of TrueCare’s most trusted pediatricians and a champion for youth mental health.
Each year, the&nbsp;ILLUMINATION&nbsp;Gala fuels vital efforts to expand access to care for individuals and families in underserved communities. As growing pressure threatens access to care, this support plays a critical role in closing the gap and helping our communities thrive.

A limited number of TrueGlow Tickets are available for $400 and include early admission and access to a special reception experience. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $4,000. If you want to bring some greenery into your home but are worried about the upkeep, this terrarium workshop in San Diego is just what you need! You'll learn how to make a terrarium with air plants, which is as low-maintenance as it comes! Plus, you will get to design and personalize your terrarium for a bit of creative expression!
Each ticket includes everything you will need to make one large 6" terrarium - including air plants, sand, gravel, dried flowers, and all the tools you need! We will guide you through assembling your unique terrarium and give you some pointers on how to care for it. No green thumb is required!
Tickets include a Flight of wine and $10 OFF a bottle of your choice! Whether you're looking for a girls' outing, date night, or spring activities, this unique experience will bring some creativity and natural beauty to your day. Bobby Cressey is one of the West Coast’s most dynamic and versatile keyboardists, Best known as the organist for the San Diego Padres, where his high-energy playing electrifies tens of thousands of fans each season. A virtuoso of jazz, funk, soul, ska, reggae, and classical piano, he has performed with an extraordinary range of artists, including Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Brown, Lil Jon, Warren G, John Elefante of Kansas, DJ Skee, and The Glenn Miller Big Band. A founding member of the acclaimed 18-piece ska ensemble Western Standard Time and leader of his own jazz piano and organ projects, Cressey is also an accomplished composer and producer whose work appears in film, television, radio, and video games.
