An exhibition of 26 oil paintings by award-winning artist Lori Mills, opens September 13 at the Art Gallery at La Jolla Presbyterian Church. In 2024, Mills walked 500 miles from the French border to Santiago de Compostela in 30 days, alone with a 12-pound backpack. Her paintings explore the Camino as a journey of mind, body, and spirit, capturing the beauty, solitude, unexpected encounters, and quiet moments of faith she experienced along the way. The exhibition runs through November 1, 2026. The gallery is open Sundays from 8:30 AM-12 PM and Thursdays from 12-3 PM, when Mills will also be painting in the gallery.
