LA JOLLA, CA – A fiery crash snarled traffic Monday near UC San Diego, but no one was seriously injured.
One of the vehicles that crashed on northbound Interstate 5 near La Jolla Village Drive around 6:40 a.m. caught fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wrecked vehicles blocked the right lanes for a time and prompted authorities to issue a SigAlert, but the roadway was later reopened, according to the CHP.
