Small Hail, Strong Winds Hit San Diego County
The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory until 10:30 a.m. for central San Diego County.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Hail is hitting parts of the San Diego region, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a significant weather advisory. The advisory is in effect until 10:30 a.m. for central San Diego County.
According to the National Weather Service, at 9:14 a.m., the public reported showers producing small hail along a line extending from six miles northeast of Fallbrook to four miles southwest of San Pasqual to Lemon Grove. The storm was moving east-northeast at 25 miles per hour.
"Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms," weather officials said. "Accumulations of small hail could be hazardous to motorists."

The advisory is in effect for Alpine, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Coronado, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, National City, Oceanside, Poway, Ramona, Vista and portions of the San Diego city limits, including downtown San Diego, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Lindbergh Field, Midway District, Mission Valley and North Park.
