Ciao Ciao Piadina is an Italian restaurant that specializes in piadina; Italian flatbread filled with Italian meats and cheeses imported from Italy. We spoke to Lauren Turton about the creation of Ciao Ciao Piadina and the unique food and drinks you can experience when you come to visit!

Francesco Burnazzi, from Rimini, Italy dreamed of bringing piadina to Southern California. With the help of restaurateurs from Ambrogio 15 and Lauren Turton, his dream was realized in the creation of Ciao Ciao Piadina. Ciao Ciao takes a new take on Italian food in La Jolla, serving piadinas, Italian tapas, and bruschettas. These delicious foods are not only tasty but they are also light foods that leave you satisfied and won’t make you go running to the gym after eating them. And for those of us who like to enjoy a good wine, Ciao Ciao Piadina also serves imported wines from Italy. And don’t forget about the spritzes! These drinks are not only great to take pictures of, they’re also delicious to drink!
