If you missed the June Membership Meeting, you will want to take some time to watch and listen to the recorded version of our very special panel featuring personal and — often hard to hear — stories of racism from four young people. We learned more about the Black Lives Matter movement as well as how we can take action as an association, as merchants and, as human beings. We are also excited to announce that former Intern, Rehema Ally-Lifa (picture above will) has taken on the new role of Diversity Consultant. We will launch a Diversity Task Force which is charged with setting goals and specific action items for the La Jolla Village Merchants Association which will support our mission of bringing business to La Jolla Village.
