La Jolla Pharmaceutical Co. listed its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market on Wednesday.
Another San Diego-based company listed its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital market this week. La Jolla Pharmaceutical Co., a developer of therapeutics targeting life-threatening diseases, announced Wednesday that it received approval to list its common stock starting the same day.
La Jolla Pharmaceutical Co. will use the ticker symbol (Nasdaq: LJPC). It joins the likes of Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOM), Illumina Inc. (Nasdaq: ILMN) and Pricesmart (Nasdaq: PSMT) as San Diego-based publicly traded firms.
