Here's the La Jolla Real Estate review for the first half of 2014, a summary of the homes recently sold in La Jolla (92037). This list is presented by Gary Kent of the Gary Kent Team – Keller Williams Realty in La Jolla; 858-457-5368.
332 homes were sold in La Jolla real estate in the first half of 2014, or an average of 12.8 homes per week. The median sale price was $940,000, while the mean sale price was $1.3 million—meaning that a few extremely pricey homes significantly skewed the average.
The cheapest homes, all of them fairly basic La Jolla Village condos, sold in the $250,000 range. 163 of the homes sold for at least $1 million. That figure includes 63 homes that sold for $2 million+, 28 for $3 million+, and 10 for $4 million+. The priciest of all was a $7.8 million slice of oceanfront paradise in Lower Hermosa.
One of the highlights of the year so far was a $4.5 million La Jolla Heights home. Featuring over 5,000 square feet of living space, this opulent yet refined residence boasts a lap pool, spa and tennis court. Other amenities include water features, tranquil canyon views, two fire pits, and patio terraces perfect for entertaining.
