The past week was fairly slow for sales in La Jolla real estate. Just seven homes were sold altogether, with two of those being detached, and the rest being apartments or condos. The median sale price was accordingly low at $665,000. Two of the homes sold for over $1 million, including this week's featured home...
This group of sales included one that was designated as a historic landmark, the Grace Scripps Johanson House. Built for a ship captain and his wife in the late 1930s, this $3.75 million Village home has been painstakingly restored to highlight its colonial architecture. It boasts ocean and city views, three fireplaces, wet bar, elevator, library, pool and spa.
