Parks & Beaches Committee to Appoint Community Members to Update Cultural Landscape Survey

The La Jolla Parks and Beaches committee will meet today for its monthly meeting. Agenda items include appointing an ad hoc committee member to work on the La Jolla Cultural Landscape Survey and selection of a committee to review the organization's bylaws.

The La Jolla Cultural Landscape Survey will review street trees, parks and developed landscape.

While these are the only two action items on today's agenda, the committee will provide an update on the odor at the La Jolla Cove, the "seal cam" at the Children's Pool, and planning commission's Sept. 12 hearing for the Children's Pool beach seasonal closure.
